Gemma Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Beautician/Cosmetologist to join our dynamic organization. Through our UNITED values, we look to grow our Gemma community with dedicated individuals to help our youth.
In this role, you will assist children with hair care services including but not limited to haircut, shampoo, conditioning scalp massage, instruction on how to maintain hairstyle until next appointment, and additional services as agreed upon by both parties. Contractor will provide materials and supplies needed for the children’s haircare, except Company will provide utility sink needed for shampooing.
Education/Experience: Must be 21+ years of age. Must have a valid cosmetology license. Must have a strong understanding of sanitation and hygiene standards. Must work well with children.
Availability: Must be available for at least 6-10 hours weekly.

With three locations in the Greater Philadelphia region, Gemma provides community-based and residential mental health programs, foster family care, adoption and permanency services, special education through an Approved Private School for K-12 students (Martin Luther School), and prevention programs. More than 3,000 individuals and families participate in Gemma’s programs each year.
