Job Description

The Beach Club Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guests enjoy a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience at the beach or recreational facility at one or more Carnival Corporation owned and operated global destination. This role involves monitoring beach areas to promote guest safety, assisting visitors with seating, equipment, and general requests, and maintaining compliance with established rules and safety regulations. The attendant supports overall operations by keeping the beach and surrounding facilities clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. They provide courteous guest service, promptly address questions or concerns, and assist with recreational activities or beachside services as needed. By combining attentiveness, professionalism, and strong customer service, the Beach Club Attendant helps create a welcoming environment where guests can relax and enjoy their time.

Key Accountabilities / Job Functions

1. Operations & Service Delivery

Preparation, setup, and distribution of all beach products and services.

Assist with guest queries in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner.

Extend appropriate greetings to all guests and staff, using their names whenever possible.

Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor to ensure smooth daily operations.

2. Facility Upkeep & Compliance

Maintain cleanliness and organization of beach, pool, and lounge areas.

Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas, including first aid support if required.

Adhere to company standards regarding dress, appearance, and professional conduct.

3. Guest Engagement & Support

Provide information about attractions and services on site to support guests as needed.

Handle general requests, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner, escalating when necessary.

Assist callers courteously and promptly, forwarding messages to the correct team members.

4. Reporting & Safety Oversight

Follow correct reporting procedures when faced with issues, documenting as necessary.

Uphold all company, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.

Support supervisors and team leaders in monitoring compliance and safety in guest areas.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Adheres to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employee’s control (list not exhaustive).
