About the Role

As a Business Development Representative at Bilton, you will play a key role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging potential customers within the construction industry. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, enjoys building relationships, and is excited about representing Bilton at industry events and conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.

  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads.

  • Represent Bilton at industry exhibitions, conferences, trade shows, and customer events, creating new business opportunities and strengthening relationships.

  • Maintain a high level of daily outbound activity, with a strong emphasis on phone prospecting and lead generation.

  • Engage prospects, understand their business challenges, and effectively communicate how Bilton delivers value.

  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop outreach strategies and consistently achieve monthly targets.

  • Schedule and participate in discovery meetings and product demonstrations.

  • Maintain accurate records of activities and opportunities in the CRM.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as an Outbound SDR/BDR or Business Development Representative.

  • Strong experience in outbound prospecting and making high-volume outbound calls.

  • Experience representing a company at conferences, exhibitions, or industry events.

  • Experience working with customers in the construction industry or a related field – strong advantage

  • Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions – advantage

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Passion for business development, continuous learning, and achieving ambitious targets.
