As a Business Development Officer – Workplace Financial Solutions, you will drive growth by building and expanding relationships across your assigned territory. You’ll generate new business, strengthen internal partnerships, and deliver financial education to employers and employees. This role offers strong visibility, relationship-building opportunities, and a clear path for sales and leadership growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Drive new business by generating leads through cold outreach, networking, and community engagement.

  • Build and manage referral pipelines from internal partners across Retirement Plan Services, Treasury Management, and Corporate Banking & Wealth Management.

  • Partner with branch teams to deliver compelling employer and employee presentations that convert opportunities into new relationships.

  • Develop and maintain Centers of Influence to expand market presence and achieve checking production goals.

  • Coach and support frontline teams through training, observation, and skill development to strengthen program execution.

  • Collaborate with district leadership to plan and execute events that drive household growth and brand awareness.

  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships to deepen engagement and identify new opportunities.

Education & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years of business-to-business development experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a sales-driven environment

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services or workplace banking solutions

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
