Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to lead and support business
development efforts for our consultancy and training services in the domain of
Business
Continuity Management (BCM)
,
Crisis Management
, and
Organisational Resilience
.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Business Growth
•
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target industries and regions
aligned with the company’s strategic priorities.
•
Support the development and execution of go-to-market (GTM) plans for business
continuity consultancy and training services.
•
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, gaps, and
emerging client needs.
2. Client Engagement & Opportunity Management
•
Build, manage, and nurture relationships with prospective clients and industry
partners.
•
Coordinate meetings, presentations, and proposal submissions to key stakeholders
and decision-makers.
•
Maintain a structured sales pipeline, including lead tracking, follow-ups, and
conversion reporting.
3. Marketing & Outreach Support
•
Support the Director to conceptualise and execute campaigns, events, or webinars
that promote service offerings.
•
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and networking
platforms to build brand awareness and generate leads.
4. Internal Coordination & Proposal Support
•
Liaise with consulting and training teams to develop tailored proposals and cost
estimates.
•
Assist in the development of tender responses and capability statements.
•
Support cross-functional teams in aligning solution offerings with client
requirements
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile:
•
Experience:
o
Minimum 3 - 6 years of experience in business development, client
engagement, or B2B sales, preferably within professional services,
consultancy, or training domains.
o
Exposure to or interest in business continuity, crisis management, or
resilience-related services will be advantageous.
•
Qualifications:
o
Recognised bachelor’s degree business, marketing, finance or risk
management (minimum)
•
Skills and Competencies:
o
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
o
Proven ability to identify, develop, and convert business opportunities.
o
Self-starter with strong commercial acumen and relationship-building
capabilities.
o
Good organisational and time management skills.
o
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
o
Comfortable in meeting sales KPIs.
