A Frontend Team Lead for a global IT workflow product drives the user experience of complex, data-heavy systems. This role requires balancing hands-on technical excellence with the architectural foresight needed to scale products across international markets.

You will lead the front-end strategy for a business workflow automation platform, ensuring it is responsive, accessible, and performant for a global user base.

Key Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership: Define the front-end architecture, choosing frameworks and patterns (e.g., Micro-frontends) that support scalability and maintainability.

- Workflow Automation UI: Design and implement intuitive interfaces for complex logic, such as drag-and-drop workflow builders, real-time data dashboards, and integration wizards.

- Global Optimization: Ensure high performance across varying network conditions and localized support for multiple languages and regional data standards.

- Team Mentorship: Lead code reviews, set engineering standards, and mentor junior to mid-level developers to foster a culture of quality.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to bridge the gap between high-fidelity designs and technical feasibility, and with backend teams to define robust API contracts.

- Design Systems: Own and evolve the core component library to ensure visual and functional consistency across the entire global product suite.

Qualifications

  • Above 7 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation testing
  • Hands-on expertise in Python + Playwright, including automation framework design and maintenance
  • Proven experience in leading or mentoring QA teams, including managing small team sizes (3–5 members)
  • Ability to define and drive test strategy (integration/E2E), ensuring testability from early stages (shift-left approach)
  • Solid experience in test design, test case review, and quality best practices
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong collaboration skills with Development, Product, and cross-functional stakeholders in Agile environments
  • Strong English communication and documentation skills
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification
  • Familiarity with Playwright (TypeScript) is a plus
  • Experience with OutSystems or Low-Code/No-Code platforms is a plus
