About the Opportunity

We have an opportunity for an experienced and proactive BD and Marketing Advisor to join our Brisbane office on a 9-to-12-month fixed term contract. This role is offered on a full‑time basis, with flexibility to consider part‑time arrangements for the right candidate.

Reporting to our National BD & Marketing Manager in Melbourne, you’ll work closely with our lawyers to support the delivery of our relationship‑led, industry‑focused BD and marketing strategy, taking ownership of key initiatives and partnering confidently with stakeholders.

You’ll help plan and deliver BD and marketing activity, including:

• Partnering with Principals across multiple practice groups to implement targeted relationship initiatives that deepen client engagement.
• Supporting industry‑focused BD and marketing strategies by equipping our lawyers with insights, analysis, collateral and market profiles to elevate our industry profile and presence.
• Producing strategic BD and marketing analysis and insight including event effectiveness, relationship mapping and client needs analysis.
• Owning the development and refinement of capability statements and proposals.
• Coordinating and supporting client and industry events for the Brisbane office.
• Contributing ideas, collaboration and expertise to the broader BD and marketing team.

About You

You’re a commercially astute BD or marketing professional who is confident working with senior stakeholders and enjoys influencing outcomes. You’re proactive, organised and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

You’ll bring:

• Previous experience in business development and/or marketing within a professional services environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A collaborative, practical and detail‑oriented approach.
• Confidence working with data, insights and reporting.
• CRM experience (Microsoft Dynamics) (desirable).
