Job Description

City Hall Childcare Center provides services for children from the ages of three months to seven years. The center offers non-discriminatory services to parents and children, regardless of race, cultural heritage, national origin, marital status, religion, political beliefs, disability, or sexual orientation. We accept any child with any disability. With parental consent, we request the following information: early intervention documentation, health/service provider information, and any education agency documentation. We actively seek and encourage parental input to identify accommodations and modifications in the classroom to encourage the child’s participation. These accommodations may include modifying the size of the group to which the child is assigned, adjusting the staff-to-child ratio, and adding special equipment, ramps, materials, or aids. Parents are encouraged to participate in the development and review of their child’s program plan in collaboration with IEPs, Early Intervention (EI), IFSs, and other health/service providers. We will notify parents within 30 days if any requested accommodations will cause undue burden. Additionally, our program will recruit, hire, train, and promote individuals without regard to race, cultural heritage, national origin, marital status, religion, political beliefs, disability, or sexual orientation. We recognize that staff play an integral role in delivering quality childcare programming. Therefore, we are committed to providing staff with numerous opportunities for training and professional advancement in the field of early care and education. City Hall Childcare operates under a license issued by the Department of Early Education and Care (DEEC).
