Holy Angels Residential Facility is in search of a BCaBA/Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to assess the needs of residents/clients and develop individual behavior programs accordingly. The qualified candidate will have a passion for helping individuals on the autism spectrum or related intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their full potential. This is a full time, 40 + hour per week salaried position, hours not dependent on census, with one on one therapy sessions. The BCaBA’s role includes the following:

Specific Skills and Responsibilities

· Manage day to day behavioral therapy in an Intermediate Care Facility across all services provided in conjunction with the BCBA and Psychologist

· Conduct assessments across learning domains such as language, academics, social skills, and functional life skills.

· Support the generating of Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and the development of Behavior Intervention Plans.

· Train, Supervise and oversee Registered Line/Behavior Technicians in the ICF. (Proof of BCBA Supervisor Training)

· Ability to train facility staff, caregivers, and family members in behavior analysis techniques

· Coordinate with families, staff, and other team members to ensure program consistency and efficacy

· Performs all other duties as requested by the CEO and Senior Director of Community Services.

Qualifications:

· Must maintain BCaBA certification and be in good standing with the BACB

· Must maintain a current and valid driver’s license.

· Experience with programming in clinical settings.

· Experience with program development.

· At least 2 years of experience working with a variety of learners in either a special education classroom, ABA home program, ABA center-based program, school or ICF.

Education:

· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), or related field,

· BCaBA Certification

Work Environment:

· Works closely with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Physical Demands

· Walk, stand, sit, push, pull, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, use hands and lift up to 50lbs, 2/3’s of the time

Requirements:

· Driver’s License Check

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000 per year depending on experience.

Today, Holy Angels offers residential services to approximately 185 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities from more than 20 states.

In 2012, Holy Angels expanded its mission to include a program that serves as a benefit not only to its residents, but also to individuals with disabilities from the Northwest Louisiana community who are seeking opportunities for meaningful work.
