Job Title: Battery Technician
Department: Maintenance
FLSA: Non-Exempt
Accountable for changing batteries, rotating and charging batteries in the proper cycle, preventative maintenance, cleaning batteries and work area, minor repairs of cables and housings on batteries and chargers.
Accountable and Reports to: Distribution Maintenance Supervisor, Asst. Department Manager Maintenance

High School or equivalent experience
Previous general maintenance experience preferred
None
The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is exposure to dirt, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemical or solvents, and electrical shock. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day.
Must provide own hand tools. Battery chargers, load bank, volt and amp meters, plastic welder, torch oxygen and acetylene, drill, power washer, walker and fork lift
