Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.

We are seeking an experienced Battery Lab Manager to lead our cutting-edge battery testing and validation operations in Shanghai. This pivotal role involves overseeing the generation of comprehensive cell and pack validation data, standardizing lab processes, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. As the Battery Lab Manager, you will support the strategic growth of our Shanghai facility, manage critical relationships with third-party test houses, and play a key role in scaling our lab operations.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee lab operations to generate comprehensive validation data for battery cells and packs, ensuring efficient execution of test plans.
  • Manage and maintain battery testing equipment, with a focus on operating and debugging Neware Cyclers.
  • Standardize lab processes across various development programs, including implementing Incoming Quality Control (IQC) procedures and measurement protocols.
  • Produce accurate status updates, progress reports, and validation reports to keep stakeholders informed throughout each build phase.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance lab efficiency and throughput, including automation and the development of custom testing solutions.
  • Create and maintain dashboards within the Neware system for real-time monitoring of test progress and equipment status.
  • Act as the primary liaison for third-party test houses, ensuring data integrity and aligning internal and external testing results.
  • Provide technical leadership and support the strategic build-out of the Shanghai lab, leveraging knowledge of data networking principles to enhance infrastructure.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Deep understanding of battery testing methodologies, cell chemistry behavior, and pack-level validation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Neware Cyclers and similar battery testing equipment.
  • Proven ability to standardize complex lab processes and manage multiple concurrent validation programs.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, report findings, and identify anomalies in test results.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to independently resolve technical issues with lab equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including experience with CT scanning, cross-section analysis, and 3D measurements.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and process automation.
  • Basic understanding of data networking principles applicable to connected lab equipment.
  • Proficiency in English for effective communication.
