At Meta Reality Labs, our goal is to explore, innovate and design the hardware for the next generation of AI glasses, wearables, and virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. The mission of the battery team is to develop power sources for the devices that enable these experiences.
We are looking for a motivated Battery Cell Engineering Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work with our cell engineers to understand how and why lithium-ion battery cells age, with a focus on storage degradation. The exact project scope will be tailored to your background and interests. Your work will shape how we qualify cells for future wearable devices, helping them last longer and perform reliably throughout their life. This internship combines hands-on lab work, AI-assisted data analysis, and collaboration across battery engineering teams.
Our internships are twelve (12) to twenty four (24) weeks long and we have various start dates throughout the year.
