What you will be doing

To write the component technical specifications

To prepare supplier consultations and participate in their nomination

To propose technical solutions for arbitration

To define and carry out validations, (internally or externally).

To technically lead discussions with supplier on product and process aspects.

To write a summary on the progress of development at each project milestone in accordance with the Renault development process

To guarantee the alignement with the strategy technical roadmap

To define technical policies, standards and participate in the drafting of business rules on traction battery cells

You have to lead technical improvements on specifications and standards based on benchmark , project experiences

and new regulations.

To work on the electronic components roadmap and innovative solutions.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s degree Electric / Electronic or generalist in mechanics with specialization in electronics. Mechanical, industrial engineering.

• At least 3 years experience in electric / electronic hardware development. Know-how of their validations and integration within the rest of the systems.

• Valuable to have worked in automotive or aerospace environment, managed projects or components, developed batteries or high voltage systems. We highly value multifacetic profiles that can adapt to working in other battery fields such as system engineering or managing the general questions of the battery pack (structure, module, etc.)

• English mandatory

• Knowledge of the development logic of electrical or electronic components in the automotive field.

• Knowledge of the development logic of electrical or electronic components, and PCB.

• Bonus skills: mechanical dimensioning, machine learning, programming, data analysis,

  Rigorous, organized, dynamic, proactive, willing to take responsabilities, synthesis capacity, critical spirit, you appreciate teamwork.
