The Hours

The hours for this position are 3:00 am - 1:00 pm, although the start time vary depending on the needs of the business. We work 10 hour shifts, Monday - Thursday.

During our busy season we anticipate there being some Overtime available. Busy season typically runs from June-September but this can change subject to the needs of the business.

The Pay

The Batch Technician I position pays $21.00/hour.

The Location

We are located at 51 Scarborough Lane, Milford, NH. This position is onsite.

Additional Job Details

  • Required to follow batch sheets and standard formulas to accurately identify and measure amounts and weights of components for each job when required or use prepared “kit” of materials ready for mixing. Complete all necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately to meet company and customer SOP’s.
  • Combine components in tanks to produce and supply wax batches for fill lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of each drum to track fragrance and other components used.
  • Review work schedules and work with Supervision to anticipate and meet production demand.
  • Develop component knowledge to alert Supervision of low inventory levels or potential shortages and maintain records for proper and accurate inventory control.
  • Maintain the condition of equipment and tools assigned to the area as well as cleanliness and organization of the area to assure a safe working environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Specific vision ability to distinguish between color.

Education required:

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

Range of Experience:

  • 12 months related experience
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs independently

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, use hands to handle or touch, reach, talk, hear, and smell. The employee may be required to kneel, crouch, sit, climb, or balance. The employee may lift and/or move up to more than 50 pounds with assistance. Employees need to be able to stand for 8-10 hours. The employee needs to be able to do repetitive lifting motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, and aromas. The employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
