The company offers the opportunity to those who wish to express interest in the position of “Batch Plant Engineer | Μηχανικός Παραγωγής Σκυροδέματος”, for its premises in Chalkidiki. The position will be reported to the Pastefill & Batch Plant Superintendent of the Capital Projects department in Skouries.

Main Responsibilities:

· Operate and monitor the concrete batching system to produce concrete mixes according to approved designs and job requirements.

· Ensure accurate batching of raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, water).

· Supervise and coordinate the activities of Batch Plant personnel to ensure safe and efficient operations and achievement of production requirements.

· Monitor raw material inventory and requirements for batching (cement, aggregates, admixtures and water), raise the necessary purchase orders, coordinate closely with Supply Chain to ensure timely availability and delivery to site, and report any actual or anticipated shortages in a timely manner.

· Coordinate with dispatch, technical services, and production teams to meet delivery schedules.

· Perform routine inspections, plant checks, and basic troubleshooting of plant equipment.

· Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times.

· Maintain accurate production records, batch tickets, and daily logs.

· Identify and report equipment malfunctions or process deviations.

· Keep the batch plant and surrounding areas clean and organized.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives related to productivity, quality, and safety.

Requirements:

· University degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline from an accredited program

· 1–3 years of experience in construction with exposure to a concrete batch plant, or other industrial process.

· Experience with automated batching systems is preferred.

· Prior experience in construction materials, ready-mix concrete, or aggregates operations is an advantage.

· Knowledge of concrete materials, specifications, mix designs, and batching processes.

· Knowledge of all testwork that needs to be conducted for Quality Assurance/ Quality Checks (QAQC) for concrete and shotcrete production

· Ability to operate computerized batching systems and related software.

· Understanding of equipment such as conveyors, silos, mixers, and weigh scales.

· Knowledge of safety procedures, lockout/tagout, and environmental controls.

· Basic mechanical and troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and interpret production schedules, mix designs, and specifications
