Job Description

The Basware Functional Consultant/Lead will be responsible for driving the design, implementation, and optimization of Basware solutions focused on Invoice Automation and Invoice Ingestion. This role requires hands-on expertise with Basware tools, strong leadership in ensuring compliance across multi-country implementations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored solutions for Basware Invoice Automation and Invoice Ingestion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Configure and optimize Basware systems, including invoice processing workflows, API integrations, and multi-entity hierarchies.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to regulatory standards, including e-invoicing, tax reporting, and other compliance mandates across multiple regions.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and alignment.
  • Manage integrations between Basware systems and ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle), ensuring accurate data flow and functionality.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements to optimize efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users and technical teams, ensuring effective adoption of Basware solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements, delivering recommendations to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Guide and mentor junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-6 years of experience in ERP or AP automation projects, with hands-on expertise in Basware solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver scalable solutions for complex implementations.
  • Strong technical skills in system configuration, data mapping, and integration technologies (e.g., APIs, REST, SFTP).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of e-invoicing standards and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in leading workshops, managing testing phases, and delivering user training.

Preferred Experience

  • Expertise in Basware Invoice Automation and Invoice Ingestion tools.
  • Familiarity with multi-country implementations and varying regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with delivery methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile
