Job Description

ECS is seeking a Financial Analyst (Basic) to support the Missile Defense Agency's Aegis-Based Defense program in Dahlgren, VA

The successful candidate will function as a member of a financial team supporting one of the Aegis-Based Program Offices. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare funding documents using the DAI Finance & Accounting System.
  • Maintain accounting log (log/status for all funding documents).
  • Conduct financial execution, record keeping, and analysis.
  • Reconcile DAI/1002 status.
  • Generate financial reports.
  • Reconcile unliquidated obligations (ULOs).
  • Resolve unmatched disbursements (UMDs).
  • Build dormant account review - quarterly (DAR-Q) reports.
  • Conducts year-end closeout of expiring funds.
  • Resolves DAI/PRIDE system errors (document issues /status inaccuracies/monitor help desk tickets).

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Either have, or the ability to obtain, a DoD secret clearance.
  • Associates' or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
