As a BASE24 Software Engineer in Pune, you will join a diverse, passionate team, dedicated to powering the world’s payments ecosystem!

We are looking for a highly skilled BASE24 Software Engineer with strong experience in BASE24‑eps, particularly in network interfaces, to independently design, develop, test, and support high‑quality payment solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on expertise in C++, payment card schemes, and BASE24‑eps testing using ASSET simulators.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently design, develop, test, and deliver high‑quality software solutions in line with business requirements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve BASE24‑eps issues efficiently while adhering to established software development and change management standards.
• Produce High‑Level Designs (HLDs) based on functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain C++ code for BASE24‑eps applications.
• Work extensively on BASE24‑eps network interfaces, including message flows and integrations.
• Perform application testing using ASSET simulators to validate transaction processing.
• Ensure compliance with card scheme mandates (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, Banknet).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including QA, infrastructure, and production support.
• Support database activities involving Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Develop and maintain Shell/Batch scripts for automation and operational support.
• Use tools such as Vagrant for environment setup and development workflows.
• Provide production support and participate in root‑cause analysis and defect prevention.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands‑on experience with BASE24‑eps, especially network interfaces.
• Proficiency in C++ development in a Unix/Linux environment.
• Experience testing BASE24‑eps applications using ASSET simulators.
• Solid understanding of card payment schemes and mandates (Visa, Mastercard, Banknet).
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Good knowledge of Shell and Batch scripting.
• Hands‑on experience with Vagrant or similar environment management tools.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
