As a BaSE Specialist at UPS Roermond you support the protection of UPS assets, facilities, equipment and grounds. You assist with maintaining facility environmental compliance, equipment reliability, housekeeping and facility safety. You manage small and medium sized projects and oversee the work of outside contractors.

What you'll do:

• Inspect the entire facility, in- and outside, to identify issues and independently take action to list and correct these;

• Maintenance: facility, warehouse equipment and systems repairs;

• Coordination (maintenance, repairs, EOL replacement) of the SCS MHE fleet in Europe;

• Coordination of planned or unplanned works;

• Manage facility safety, compliance & project budgets;

• Vendor management and maintaining UPS vendor database;

• The organization and managing of the tendering process for all kind of projects;

• Quality reports (incidents, safety, security, building, fire alarm systems).

What you'll need:

• Education: technical background;

• Experience r elevant working experience (facility management, maintanace & enginering, fire safety, ect.)

• Computer skills: MS Office; MS Projects, AutoCAD and Database knowledge;

• Knowledge: of Health & Safety Rules, Language Rules and Warehouse/Storage equipment is required.
