Base Maintenance Group Supervisor I - Blytheville, AR

LOCATION: Blytheville - Arkansas - USA

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

Purpose:

The Electrical BMG Supervisor is responsible for planning, developing, and supervising the execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for the assigned production lines. This role ensures that all maintenance activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.

Also, this position analyzes equipment failures, identifies root causes, implements corrective actions, and drives continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate, oversee and perform the predictive and preventive maintenance routines set in SAP for the critical equipment such as high frequency induction equipment, CutOff, Slitter, Conveyors in general, straightener and bevellers.
  2. Lead and support activities with the PLC and HMI system and whole automation control system, communication network and field bus instrumentation for the production lines. This also includes variable frequency and direct current drives and high power electronic equipment.
  3. State and perform troubleshooting methodologies such as the use of IbaAnalyzer software and provide technical support to the emergency team and basic maintenance team during the production runs.
  4. Lead and support the electrical failure analysis related to production crashes due to equipment critical failures and state the action plan.
  5. Develop, validate, and update maintenance procedures, checklists, and documentation to improve troubleshooting effectiveness and standardize work.
  6. Ensure the application of health, safety and environment standards and policies.
  7. Manage and coordinate the technician team and all related to their performance.
  8. Monitor equipment performance KPIs and work with the Specialist and Maintenance Manager to reach the goal for the production line, the department performance and the SAP requirement compliance.
  9. Coordinate external service providers, ensuring alignment with safety and technical requirements. Support the risk analysis for their activities.

Technical Competences:

a. Experience with SAP

b. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, AC and DC drives, PLC and Automation, especially in Rockwell Automation and Siemens.

c. Skilled in troubleshooting in automation networks: DeviceNet, ControlNET and Ethernet/IP

d. Knowledge and Experience in High Frequency Induction Equipment.
