The Bartender at Crystal Mountain helps create a welcoming guest experience at Washington’s premier mountain resort by delivering exceptional service,preparingand serving beverages responsibly, andmaintaininga clean, organized bar environment in a fast-paced summer operations setting. This role requiresstrong communicationskills, prior bartending experience, and the ability to thrive during busy weekends, holidays, and outdoor mountain operations whilerepresentingCrystal Mountain with professionalism and hospitality.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Set up fordaily serviceincludingdishware, glassware, silverware,linens,and other amenities according todaily proceduresandthe RestaurantGeneralManager’sdirection
Servealcoholwithin the laws of the WashingtonStateLiquor & Cannabis Boardand Washington State Health Department
Clean equipment and serving utensils, as well asmaintainingclean tablesand server stations.
Stockinventory and supplies asappropriate
Establish pre-function side work to be performed and make sure all equipment is accounted for and in good condition, notifyingRestaurantGeneralManagerof any issues
Use and understand Pointsof Saleand accurately record sales.
Know the menuthat is to beserved and be able to explain the major ingredients,preparation methods for each item to be served, and pairings asappropriate
Promote andmaintainthe highest level of customer service to allguestsbyanticipatingthe needs of our guests
Determinewhen a guest should not be servedadditionalalcoholic beveragesin accordance withWashington State Liquor & Cannabis board.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refer the matter to management.
Protectthe organization, teammembersandguests by adhering to all safety, sanitation, and alcohol beverage control policies; including but not limited to Washington State Health,Liquor Department regulations, and the Center for Disease Control.
Develop andmaintainan organizational culture, values and reputation with staff,and guests.
Ensure a positive, harmonious,compliant,and cooperative work environment
Act as a representative of Crystal Mountain with guests & community members
Abide by all Crystal Mountainemployment guidelines.

KNOWLEDGE,SKILLAND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must hold a valid MASTClass 12or 13Permit (Washington state serving license)
Must hold a valid Washington Food Worker Card (Health & Food Safety)
Minimum 2years'professional experience inbartending
Positiveattitude and excellent communication skills
Basic knowledge of P.O.S. systems.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This positionmaybe scheduled to workin the evenings,weekends,and holidays
Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position aminimum of20 pounds on anoccasional basis.
Able to maneuver and tapa full-size keg of beer(~160 pounds)
Manual dexterity tooperatea computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.
Auditory and visualacuitytooperatecomputers, phones, mobiledevices,and basic office equipment on a constant basis.
The abilityto work for extended periods of timestanding,bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.
Talking and hearing occur continuouslyin the process of communicatingwith guests,supervisors,and other employees.
