Job Description

As a Part-Time Bartender at Casa Del Mar Resort, you will provide efficient, timely, and courteous beverage service to our internal and external guests while providing informational answers to all questions to enhance the guest's overall experience during their stay.

Additional Responsibilities Include:

  • Obtain assigned bank and ensure accuracy of contracted monies. Keep bank secure at all times
  • Maintain complete knowledge and strictly abide by the State: Liquor Regulations
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, liquor brands, beers, non-alcoholic beverages available and respective prices
  • Keep PARS at bars, requisitioning all alcohol and other needs correctly
  • Handle guest complaints in a professional manner; positive guest relations
  • Be familiar with all Hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry
  • Anticipate guest needs-respond promptly and acknowledge guest even when busy
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas at all times
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Manager
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age to meet State Liquor Commission laws to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality industry
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Food & Beverage
  • The ability to exert strong physical effort in transporting cases of liquor and beer keg from storeroom to bar
  • Able to accommodate a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays
  • Proficient in the English language to communicate both verbally and in writing
