Job Description

Mixes and serves beverages for customers according to established guest service standards.

Essential Job Functions:

• Greets guests immediately.
• Takes drink and/or food orders from customers or beverage servers.
• Inspects guest identification to ensure guest meets legal age limit for alcohol possession/consumption
• Monitors guest alcohol consumption and acts according to established alcohol awareness program guidelines.
• Collects payment and follows cash handling procedures.
• Orders or requisitions liquors and supplies.
• Washes glasses.
• Maintains clean and sanitary bar area.
• Resolves guest complaints.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three or more years of related experience preferred.
• Must be available to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Knowledge of beverage order processing systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.
• Frequently required to walk; stoop, kneel or crouch.
• Ability to count.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions.
• Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment
