Part-Time | 24 hours per week

At Naumi Wellington, we like hospitality with a little more character. We’re looking for a confident and personable Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team for 24 hours per week. You’ll spend most of your time behind the bar, creating great drinks and memorable guest experiences, while also supporting the wider F&B team when service needs it.

If you enjoy variety, work well across different areas and aren’t afraid to jump in wherever needed, this could be a great fit.

What you’ll be doing...

• Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer and other beverages to a high standard
• Deliver friendly, attentive and knowledgeable service to our guests
• Take orders accurately and confidently recommend drinks
• Maintain a clean, organised and well stocked bar
• Follow responsible service of alcohol requirements and hotel procedures
• Process payments and operate POS systems accurately
• Assist with opening and closing duties
• Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment needs
• Support restaurant and floor service during busy periods
• Assist with table service, clearing, resetting and general guest service when required
• Help with functions, events and special service periods
• Work closely with the wider Food & Beverage team to keep service running smoothly
• Step into other reasonable F&B duties as required to support the overall operation

What we’re looking for...

• Previous bartending or Food & Beverage experience
• Good knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer and spirits
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• The ability to stay calm and organised during busy service periods
• Confidence working across both bar and floor service
• A flexible, team first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
• A responsible and professional approach to alcohol service
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as part of a rotating roster
