THE ROLE
This position is responsible for the overall accurate service and accounting of all transactions of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned bar.
Performs location worker assignments.
Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees.
Plans for daily sales flow based on projections.
Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Bar Manager.
Organizes all paperwork for cashier responsibilities:
Physical inventories stand sheet
Cash slips
Verifies the proper item prices to the beverage menu.
Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times.
Performs location worked duties as assigned.
Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage.
Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred restaurant experience
Skills and Abilities
Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.
Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.
Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
Must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors, and employees.
Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
Must be able to stand walk for the duration of shift.
Must be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards.
Must speak and understand English well enough to read and understand safety policies and procedures converse with customers, supervisors and employees.
Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.
Work ethic encourages strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
Ability to work with other staff members in the facility.
Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks.
Attention to detail.
COMPENSATION
Competitive salary, commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
Range: $17/hr
