Job Description

This position typically starts at $7.50 per hour + tips and works a variable schedule, including weekends and holidays. Team members begin accruing PTO starting on day one, and fulltime employees are eligible for benefits after 90 days.

  • Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance; arrives on time in a clean uniform with required name tag, ID, and licenses, ready to work with a positive, readytolearn attitude.

  • Greets guests and team members warmly and professionally, supporting our Family Style Service culture.

  • Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

  • Ensure at all times operating principles are being adhered to:

    • Clean – Keep all areas clean and pristine.

    • Safe – Follow all safety policies and procedures.

    • Friendly – Get to know our guests and build genuine relationships with them.

    • Fun – Have fun! Be interactive with all internal and external guests while maintaining professional standards.

  • Display “Family Style Service” to deliver the best experience to our guests: Give a Family Style Service Signature Welcome and Parting interaction– We treat strangers like friends and friends like family.

  • Display a Positive Attitude– Team Members and Guests expect you to be hospitable; display a genuine desire to reach a positive outcome in every situation.

  • Responsible for beverage orders from guests and servers, preparation of drinks correctly and in a timely manner.

  • Ability to control guest intoxication limitations, with complete understanding of company policy and procedure regarding limitations

  • Responsible for bar inventory and beverage cost control in line with budget.

  • Responsible for, but not limited to, the following: stock bar items, fill ice bins, replenish juice used at bars, empty garbage, mop floors, keep all areas including bar mats and coolers, clean and orderly.

  • Responsible for creation of drink specials as well as staying up to date on beverage trends.

  • Adhere to department service standards of being accommodating, accurate, and attentive.
  • Interact effectively and courteously with all guests and employees and demonstrate resiliency to deal with difficult situations in all types of business conditions.

  • Ability to take food orders from guests and deliver these orders to the guest when applicable.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining positive guest relations, including but not limited to, resolving minor guest disputes and ensuring the safety and security of all guests and employees.

  • Comply with our drug & alcohol-free workplace. Subject to post offer, for cause and post-accident drug tests.

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.

  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.

  • Communicates effectively and maintains positive working relationships with guests, coworkers, and management.

  • Must pass the required background check.

  • Must have a serve safe health permit.

  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • Ability to work in a loud, fastpaced environment while handling multiple tasks under time constraints.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with our patrons and fellow employees and understand simple instructions.

  • Ability to perform assigned tasks in a restaurant environment, exposed to smoke, under frequent time pressures.

  • Walking / Standing - 100%, Bending / Lifting - 10% (up to 50lbs in a safe manner), Pushing / Pulling – 5%

  • Ability to climb stepladder and retrieve boxes overhead up to 30lbs in a safe manner.

  • Ability to be at work on time as scheduled on a regular basis which may include nights, weekends, and holidays

  • Report to work in a neat and clean uniform, with slip resistant shoes. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.

  • Travel into market areas to research new trends and best practices.

  • A high school diploma or GED equivalent, with one year experience as a bartender or bar back preferred.
