Job Description

The Bartender advises guests, takes orders, and prepares and serves food and beverages at the bar. They also collaborate with other members of the front-of-house team to provide guests with an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and organize the bar to ensure all necessary products and equipment are available;
• Greet guests in a courteous and professional manner;
• Take orders from guests and servers;
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages;
• Prepare bills and process payments;
• Conduct bar inventory and order replacement stock as needed;
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar;
• Assist the dining room service team when required;
• Ensure guest satisfaction and handle guest complaints when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in the same or a similar position;
• Excellent knowledge of cocktails, wines, and coffee beverages;
• Outstanding customer service skills;
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team;
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
• Availability to work evenings and weekends;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills in both French and English, spoken and written.
