Our Habitas Ras Abrouq is seeking a passionate, service-driven, and detail-oriented Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional beverage experiences by providing personalized, attentive, and professional service that reflects the standards of a luxury 5-star resort.

Working in a unique remote desert environment, the Bartender will play a key role in creating memorable guest moments through genuine hospitality, creative beverage preparation, excellent product knowledge, and seamless service delivery. This position requires a strong commitment to guest satisfaction, attention to detail, and the ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Supervisor, the Bartender will ensure that all beverage experiences are delivered with elegance, warmth, creativity, and consistency while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional beverage service in accordance with luxury hospitality standards.
• Welcome and engage guests with a warm, professional, and personalized approach.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and other beverages according to established standards.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations on beverages, cocktails, wines, spirits, and other menu offerings.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of beverage menus, ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation standards.
• Prepare cocktails and beverages accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
• Ensure proper presentation, garnish, glassware, and serving techniques for all beverages.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service to enhance the overall dining and bar experience.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper setup of the bar, service areas, equipment, and storage areas.
• Monitor and maintain adequate stock levels of beverages, garnishes, glassware, and bar supplies.
• Follow proper procedures for receiving, storing, handling, and rotating beverage products.
• Handle guest requests, feedback, and concerns professionally, ensuring prompt and appropriate resolution.
• Process guest bills and payments accurately when required.
• Maintain responsible service practices and comply with all applicable resort policies and regulations.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and health and safety procedures.
• Support restaurant operations during breakfast, lunch, dinner, special events, and private functions as required.
• Assist with bar setup, closing procedures, cleaning, and inventory control.
• Collaborate effectively with the kitchen, restaurant, and F&B teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Support private dining experiences, special occasions, weddings, and resort events as required.
• Maintain awareness of resort activities, outlets, and services to enhance guest interactions.

You are a dedicated hospitality professional with a passion for beverages, mixology, and exceptional guest experiences. You have a strong understanding of luxury bar and beverage service standards and enjoy creating meaningful connections with guests.

You are attentive, reliable, creative, and adaptable, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced resort environment. You possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, strong product knowledge, and a commitment to teamwork and service excellence.

You understand that being a Bartender is more than preparing and serving beverages—it is about creating unforgettable moments, understanding guest preferences, anticipating their needs, and contributing to the exceptional experience that defines Our Habitas Ras Abrouq.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Bartender or Beverage Service professional, preferably within a luxury hotel, resort, fine dining restaurant, premium bar, or high-end hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of luxury beverage and bar service standards, cocktail preparation, presentation, and guest service expectations.
• Good knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, mocktails, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver personalized, attentive, and efficient service.
• Good knowledge of beverage ingredients, preparation methods, garnishes, glassware, and presentation standards.
• Ability to prepare cocktails and beverages consistently while maintaining quality and service speed.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced bar and dining environment while maintaining service quality.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and guest billing procedures is an advantage.
• Understanding of responsible beverage service, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar throughout the operation.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote resort environment and adapt to changing operational requirements.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantage.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, creativity, and a positive service-oriented attitude.
• Commitment to maintaining luxury service standards, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.
