POSITION: Bartender
DEPARTMENT: Food and Beverage
REPORTS TO: Director of Food & Beverage
FLSA STATUS: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
• Provide friendly, efficient, and professional service while maintaining a positive guest experience
• Process guest orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system
• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar area, including glassware, garnishes, and supplies
• Follow all responsible alcohol service, health, safety, and sanitation standards

Education and/or Experience
• Preferred high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred restaurant experience
Skills and Abilities
• Must have ability to take directions and effectively perform the work.
• Must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money.
• Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures.
• Must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shift.
• Must be able to carry and lift, according to industry standards.
• Positive, customer service-oriented attitude at all times.
• Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.
• Work ethics encourage strong urgency and quality in a team environment.
• Attention to detail.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Location: On Site at the King Center for the Performing Arts (Melbourne, FL)
