The Role

As a Full Time Bartender, you’ll be at the heart of the Drifter experience, creating memorable moments through exceptional service, expertly prepared beverages and genuine hospitality. From crafting cocktails and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to sharing product knowledge and making thoughtful recommendations, you’ll help create a welcoming atmosphere where every guest feels looked after.

You’ll support the smooth day-to-day operation of the bar by accurately handling cash and POS transactions, managing inventory, replenishing stock and keeping the bar clean, organised and compliant. You’ll follow responsible alcohol service practices at all times, confidently upsell where appropriate and work closely with the wider venue team to ensure each service runs smoothly.

This is a full-time role with a mix of evening and weekend shifts. Drifter’s vibe is relaxed and social, but our standards are high, so if you enjoy a fast-paced environment, take pride in the details and love building positive guest relationships, this could be the place for you.

Who We Are Looking For

You’re someone who naturally connects with people and takes pride in delivering warm, attentive service. You have previous experience in a restaurant, bar or similar hospitality environment, along with confidence preparing cocktails, operating POS systems and managing multiple priorities during busy service periods.

You understand responsible alcohol service, communicate clearly and work well as part of a close-knit team. With strong customer service skills, a positive attitude and an organised approach to bar operations, you consistently help create an outstanding guest experience. Weekend availability is essential.
