About the location:
seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills
This position requires an applicant with general food knowledge. Candidates must have good personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
Prepare and serve aselectionof wines, spirits, and mixed drinks from the menu while ensuring proper pouring, mixing, and blending according to established recipes andestablishedFour Seasons Standards.
Confirm guest orders including any special needs or requests from the lounge server; check completed orders with the guest’s original order.
Service and take orders from guests seated at the bar area offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods;maintaina working knowledge of liquors, wines,beers, ports, Armagnac's,eaude vies, cognacs and specialty drinks.
Anticipate guest needs,ascertainsatisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
Ensure stock rotation in the bar is managed on a FIFO basis. Ensure all barcounters/fridgesand equipment aremaintainedand kept clean throughout service.
Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks or complimentary items.
Comply withFourSeasons’Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct asset forth inEmployee handbook.
Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
Maintain bars, winecellaranddispensestores upkeep.
Be part of the monthly stock take.
Ensure that beverage movement iscontrolledand consumption is charged.
Serve food items in the bar area.
Cut fruit and prepare beverage garnishments.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any task!
WSETcertifiedwill be an advantage.
Requires reading, writing and oralproficiencyin the English language.
