The Role

We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Bartender to join the team at King Street Townhouse Hotel This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a luxury hospitality environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and enjoys creating memorable guest experiences through outstanding food and beverage delivery.

Working closely with the Food & Beverage leadership team and wider hotel departments, you will play a key role in ensuring every guest interaction reflects the warmth, style, and high standards that define King Street Townhouse.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Delivering exceptional food and beverage service across Bar, Restaurant, Room Service, and Conference & Events operations
• Creating a warm, welcoming, and engaging experience for every guest from arrival to departure
• Preparing and serving drinks to the highest standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and presentation at all times
• Taking guest orders accurately and efficiently, whilst delivering a seamless and personalised service experience
• Handling guest enquiries, requests, and feedback professionally and proactively
• Driving upselling opportunities across drinks, dining, and hotel experiences in line with departmental incentives
• Following cash handling procedures and ensuring accuracy across all transactions
• Maintaining outstanding cleanliness, organisation, and presentation across all work areas
• Ensuring compliance with brand standards, health & safety regulations, hotel security procedures, and local licensing laws
• Supporting departmental targets and contributing to the overall success of the Food & Beverage operation
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to deliver smooth and efficient guest experiences
• Demonstrating environmental awareness and supporting sustainable working practices
• Assisting wider hotel teams where required and building strong working relationships across the business

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience within hospitality, bartending, or food & beverage operations
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong knowledge of bar service, beverages, and food & drink operations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, proactive, and team-focused attitude
• The ability to remain calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence working across multiple service areas and adapting to operational demands
• A willingness to learn, develop new skills, and continuously improve
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high service standards
• Good teamwork, organisational, and people skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and shifts in line with business needs
