Food & Beverage Department | Part-Time / Full-Time

Edgewood Country Club is seeking professional, service‑oriented Bartenders to join our Food & Beverage team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional beverage service, maintaining a well‑organized bar environment, and creating a memorable guest experience in both daily service and private events.

Bartenders will prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages, manage bar operations during service, and collaborate with leadership to support inventory, cost control, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic beverages in accordance with club standards
• Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service to members and guests
• Set up, stock, and maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
• Ensure accuracy and consistency in drink preparation and presentation
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests
• Maintain knowledge of current drink menus, specials, and club offerings
• Assist with bar inventory, restocking, and cost control measures in coordination with management
• Operate the bar efficiently during high‑volume service periods and events
• Handle member charges and payments accurately when required
• Follow all alcohol service regulations, food safety, and sanitation standards
• Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and event teams
• Support banquet bar service for weddings, private events, and club functions as needed

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, private club, or hospitality setting preferred
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑interaction environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality service
• Professional, polished, and team‑oriented demeanor
• Ability to build positive relationships with members, guests, and coworkers
• Willingness to learn club standards and beverage programs
• Availability for day and/or evening shifts, including weekends and holidays

Schedule & Employment Type

Shifts may include day and evening hours, with availability for weekends and holidays required based on club operations and event schedules.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour (based on experience), plus tips
