Job Shift: AnySUMMARY:
The Bartender is responsible for the beverage service to guests, Cocktail Server/Waitress. The Bartender will mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests. The Bartender will take directives from the Food and Beverage Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, and TASKS include the following and are to be performed within the company’s policies and procedures. Additional duties may be assigned.
• Knowledge of all beverages served in the lounge, portion control and drink preparation.
• Assist customers with information on beverages.
• Knowledge of a large quantity of drink recipes and be able to mis drinks in a fast and efficient manner.
• Must be sure to check identification of customers to make sure that they are of legal drinking age.
• Must be able to calculate and handle money effectively while under pressure.
• Ensure guests are satisfied what the beverages and service.
• Responds promptly and courteously to any requests or problems.
• Balance cash receipts.
• Take beverage orders from guests and servers.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the Lounge’s standard drink recipes.
• Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks for bar patrons.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages.
• Assist in the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including handling utensils, and equipment.
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Execute opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor station inventory levels.
• Maintaining compliance with all Federal, State, and local gaming regulations in addition to the delivering of exceptional guest service to all internal and external guests.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and member information and pertinent casino data.
• Always maintain good personal hygiene and a professional appearance.
• Compliance with punctuality and attendance policies required.
• Working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Ability to successfully interact with all levels of team members and management.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Three (3) to four (4) years bartending experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Food Handlers Certification.
• Alcohol Servers Permit.
• Cash handling experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required OOGC License.
• Must be a US citizen or provide documentation to work in the US.
SKILLS:
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Knowledge of POS cash and credit card system.
• Ability to understand and meet restaurant standards for health, safety, and excellence.
• Ability to remain alert and focused in an environment that is noisy and fast-paced.
• Knowledge and implementation of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards.

• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment.
