Filinvest Hotel: QUEST PLUS CONFERENCE CENTER MANILA (Alibi)
In accordance with the policies, procedures, and service standards of Quest Plus Conference Center Manila, the Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring efficient bar operations, and delivering excellent guest experiences within the hotel's Food & Beverage outlets, particularly at Alibi. Under the direct supervision of the F&B Supervisor, the role involves maintaining high service standards, ensuring proper mise-en-place, promoting guest satisfaction, and supporting smooth day-to-day operations of the bar. The Bartender is also expected to uphold professionalism, product knowledge, cleanliness, and compliance with hotel policies and operational procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Report for duty punctually in complete uniform and name badge while maintaining high standards of grooming and personal hygiene at all times.
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with established recipes, portion standards, and presentation guidelines.
Ensure proper bar setup, mise-en-place, and completion of opening and closing procedures based on operational standards.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of the bar area, equipment, and storage areas in compliance with health and safety standards.
Handle guest requests, inquiries, and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide efficient, friendly, and personalized service to guests while promoting a welcoming dining and bar experience.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in the proper handling, storage, and replenishment of bar stocks and supplies.
Coordinate effectively with team members and other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and standards, including those stated in the employee handbook.
Support upselling initiatives by recommending beverages, promotions, and specialty items to guests whenever applicable.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Bar Supervisor, Senior Bartender, or Management.
Qualifications
- B achelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, Food & Beverage Services, or any related field.
- With at least 1–2 years of relevant experience as a Bartender in a hotel, restaurant, bar, or hospitality setting.
- Knowledgeable in cocktail preparation, beverage mixing, bar operations, and basic liquor brands and classifications.
- Possesses good customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays.
- With pleasing personality, good grooming standards, and a positive attitude toward guests and colleagues.
