We are currently seeking a Bartender for Poolside Bar Service at a luxury high rise apartment building in Downtown, Austin. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while delivering exceptional service to residents. Shifts needed: Fridays 5:00-9:00PM, Saturdays 2:00-8:00PM, Sundays 1:00-5:00PM. Some weeknights needed typically 5:00-9:00PM. Perfect for bartenders working later night shifts Downtown or bartenders looking for a more relaxed, resort style atmosphere

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and take drink orders efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and glassware.
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service in compliance with laws and company policy.
  • Manage cash, process payments, and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
  • Check IDs to verify legal drinking age.
  • Restock bar inventory, garnishes, and supplies throughout the shift.
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and inventory tasks.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior bartending experience preferred, especially in a fast-paced environment.

Key Competencies

  • Strong mixology skills and knowledge of drink recipes.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication.
  • Ability to handle pressure and multitask in busy settings.
  • Basic math and cash-handling accuracy.
  • Punctual, reliable, and team-oriented.
