We are excited to announce an opportunity for a Bartender to join our dedicated team at The Westin and Four Points by Sheraton Brisbane

As a Bartender, you will be the heart of creating unforgettable guests experiences at The Charles Bar and Nautilus Pool Bar within The Westin Brisbane. Your expertise in mixology, coupled with a passion for exceptional service, will elevate the bar experience for our guests. From crafting signature cocktails to serving beverages with flair, you will play a key role in maintaining the vibrant atmosphere of our venues. Whether behind the Charles Bar or in the relaxed poolside setting of Nautilus, you will embody the five-star luxury standards while ensuring each guests feels welcomed and valued. This is your chance to showcase your creativity and hospitality in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide warm, friendly and professional service to guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Strong Team work to lead your section during busy period and supports team efforts ensuring smooth operations
• Anticipate and address guest needs, offering personalized recommendations and maintain a focus on guests satisfaction
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, wine, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and creativity
• Inform guests about seasonal promotions and menu updates
• Stay updated on current mixology trends and beverages techniques to enhance the guest experience

About You:

• The confidence to promote ideas and make sound decisions under pressure
• Proven experience as a bartender, with strong skills in creating classic and innovative skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Outgoing, enthusiastic, and approachable, with the ability to create a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere
• Must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol (Queensland)
• Be available to work over a 7-day rotating roster which will include working evenings, early starts, public holidays, and weekends
