Bartender @ The Chedi Hotel & Residences Luštica Bay

We define Food & Beverage as an experience, and every gastronomy experience involves certain Bartending skills, whether it is about mixing and preparing cocktails, preparing exquisite coffees and other warm beverages, preparing and pouring certain alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks or performing some flair and show for guests.

At The Chedi Hotel & Residences Luštica Bay we are looking for Bartenders who understands the rhythm and dynamics of a luxury F&B setting, knows how to implement 5* standards naturally and how to handle different bartending setups.

This role is essential in supporting our Food & Beverage outlets operations and ensuring that our high standards are reflected in every drink that leaves the bar.

Your role:
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for quality and standards in the bar operations and bar area.

This position is based on-site and reports to the Bar Supervisor functionally, and to outlet manager, in the sense of synergy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Ensure the quality and standards in bar operations and meet and exceed the expectations of guests on daily basis

• Ensure the correct appearance and cleanliness of all bar areas

• Prepare drinks, following the standards and procedures of the company and designated outlet

• Maintain and adhere to billing procedures and policies

• Respond quickly and proactively on guest concerns and requests

• Show flexibility, creativity and use your personal knowledge in creation of "out-of-menu" beverages when necessary

• Strict adherence to LQA and Forbes standards

• In case of exceptional need, show flexibility and assist other service team members in operations

Who we’re looking for:

• High School Diploma

• Bartending or Mixology Courses are an advantage

• Basic knowledge of hotel operations, preferably within F&B or Guest Experience roles

• Good knowledge of F&B function and hospitality industry

• Full professional proficiency in English (additional languages are an advantage)

• Previous hotel experience is considered an advantage

• Knowledge of LQA and Forbes standards will be considered as an advantage

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Professional and well-presented appearance

• Strong sense of teamwork, responsibility, and integrity
