Job Description

As a bartender, you will be the creative force behind our bar, crafting delicious cocktails and providing exceptional customer service. Your responsibilities will include preparing and serving beverages, engaging with patrons, maintaining cleanliness and inventory, processing payments, and ensuring a memorable bar experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, showcasing creativity and attention to detail in drink presentation
• Engage with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with ingredients, glassware, and supplies
• Adhere to all applicable health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices
• Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash transactions and operating the register
• Maintain knowledge of current drink trends, ingredients, and techniques to continuously enhance the bar offerings
• Engage in upselling and suggestive selling techniques to promote featured items and increase sales
• Provide exceptional customer service, building rapport with guests and addressing any concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in measuring ingredients and ensuring drink quality
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy items, such as kegs or cases of alcohol
• General math skills for processing payments and managing inventory
