Dartcor Hospitality is opening the Final Whistle. The Final Whistle is a high-energy, pop-up sports bar experience created to capture the once-in-a-generation excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Located in One Gateway Center in Newark—just steps from Newark Penn Station—TFW is designed to be the city’s premier match-day destination.

This is not your typical sports bar.

The Final Whistle is built around collective energy, elevated hospitality, and an immersive viewing environment—where every match feels like you’re in the stadium, and every guest feels part of something bigger.

We are currently seeking a Bartender to join our team. This is an hourly position offering a competitive wage of $16.05 per hour + tips. The ideal candidate will have solid bartending experience, a passion for mixology, and a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, local beers, and wines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bartending: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner, ensuring each drink meets our quality standards.
• Customer Service: Engage with guests, offer drink recommendations, and ensure that each guest enjoys an exceptional experience at the bar.
• Cocktail Knowledge: Demonstrate a strong understanding of classic cocktail recipes and be able to create and customize drinks based on guest preferences.
• Knowledge of Beer & Wine: Provide guests with recommendations on local beers and wines, ensuring they have a variety of options based on their tastes.
• Bar Maintenance: Keep the bar area clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout your shift. Ensure that all glassware, tools, and supplies are in working order.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and communicate with management to ensure that the bar is adequately stocked for daily operations.
• Cash Handling: Accurately process customer payments and manage the till during your shift.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure the bar runs smoothly and that guest needs are met quickly and effectively.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service and sanitation protocols.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven bartending experience with solid knowledge of classic cocktails, wine, and local beers. Experience in a fast-paced bar environment is preferred.
• Customer Service: Strong communication skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and engage guests in a positive and friendly manner.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow drink recipes and ensure consistent quality in every drink served.
• Organization: Must be organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks at once, especially during busy hours.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift boxes, and handle the physical demands of working behind the bar.
• Teamwork: Strong ability to work well with others in a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility: Ability to adjust to a changing environment and handle guest requests promptly and efficiently.
