Bartender- Elko

Pay Range $12.00 per hour +tips

*Housing options available after 90 days*

The Bartender mixes and serves drinks to guests and Servers within the establishment. Accepts money and provides change, process debit/credit card transactions, stocks supply, clear tables while maintaining a friendly and professional image. Works between Maverick Casino & Hotel and Gold Country Inn.

Essential Job functions:

· Greet guests in prompt courteous manner and thank guest upon departure.

· Responsibly mixes and serves drinks, according to the policy & procedure, for servers and guests.

· Clear off and clean tables after each use and make sure they are set properly.

· Responsible for cleanliness and maintenance of all bar equipment.

· Maintain an orderly, accurate par level for bar service outlet.

· Promote positive guest relations.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· Performs job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

· Must have excellent alcohol service knowledge.

· Ability to work with Point of Sale (POS) system.

· Ability to get Bar Card.

· Ability to prioritize and organize, uses time efficiently.

· Resolve problems using good judgment, displays willingness to make decisions, exhibits sound and accurate judgment, and makes timely decisions.

· Ability to work well with guests and colleagues.

· Knowledge of applicable local state and federal health and safety regulations.

· Actively promotes and personally observes safety and security procedures and uses equipment and materials properly.
