Job Location: Hope Valley Country Club - Durham, NC 27707
Position Type: Part-Time (Less than 30 hours a week)
Salary Range: $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly
Hope Valley Country Club is seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service while maintaining a welcoming and polished bar atmosphere for members and guests. This role requires someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and who takes pride in delivering high-quality hospitality.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and guests
- Provide attentive, courteous, and professional service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Follow all club policies and responsible alcohol service guidelines
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events and regular service
- Work collaboratively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service
- Accurately process beverage orders and transactions
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending or hospitality experience preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be a dependable team player
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and club events
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Schedule:
This position requires availability for evenings, weekends, and special club events. Must also be 21 years old per alcohol service
QualificationsRequired Skills
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)
- Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
- Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.
