As a Bartender of Eastern & Oriental Express, a Belmond Train, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages and creating a welcoming atmosphere. • Performing a variety of bartending duties, including crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and preparing garnishes.

• Consulting with guests to determine their individual preferences and recommending drinks.

• Promoting specials and engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
• Maintaining a clean and organized bar area, including stocking and replenishing supplies.
• Adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols, including responsible alcohol service.
• Keeping up-to-date with current drink trends and techniques.
• Participating in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Certification or diploma in bartending or hospitality.
• Minimum of 2 or more years of experience in a luxury bar or restaurant environment.
• Proficiency in a variety of cocktail preparations and beverage knowledge.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.

International exposure will be considered a plus. You must speak English. Additional languages, such as Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, French and German, are a benefit. We welcome a diversity of backgrounds, ethnicities and religions.

Experience in the hospitality industry is a bonus, but not a necessity.
