Job Description

Our Bartenders are essential in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our members and guests by preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. As a Bartender, you play a pivotal role in maintaining the bar area, ensuring that adequate supplies are available, and serving drinks according to established recipes.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
Request additional supplies as necessary.
Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing duties.
Prepare garnishes, mix drinks, and prepare pre-mixed beverages.
Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
Mix, prepare, and serve drinks according to approved recipes, maintaining consistency in quality.
Collect checks/payments for drinks served.
Promptly report any guest complaints to a manager.
Maintain and clean the bar area and equipment, ensuring a safe and organized workspace.
Keep records of liquors, beers, wine, and sundries to ensure par stock is maintained.
Demonstrate strong teamwork skills and maintain a positive and enthusiastic commitment to hospitality.
Attend staff meetings as required.
Maintain knowledge of wines and liquors in the club's inventory.
Consistently comply with all state, local, and club laws/policies related to the service of alcohol.

Requirements

Good working knowledge of wine and spirits
Prior bartending experience in an upscale atmosphere is preferred
Prior experience in a country club setting is a plus.
