We are looking for a bartender to join our team! This individual will be responsible for taking orders, making drinks, and keeping the bar area cleaned. The bartender will be an outgoing individual with a desire to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities (not limited to):
Have a friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to interact with many different types of customers.
Present drink menus to guests and make recommendations.
Have an understanding of food safety and preparation skills.
Ensure the bar is stocked daily with appropriate supplies and ingredients.
Work alongside other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff.
Issue bills, accept payments, handle cash and credit cards.
Anticipate, identify and correct system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
Communicate with the food and beverage department management and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies equipment, safety problems, etc.
Qualifications:
Prior experience working as a bartender in a fast paced environment
Hands-on experience working with a point of sale system and handling cash.
Excellent people skills and a customer-oriented attitude
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must obtain TIPS certification
Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English to understand instructions, safety rules, and communicate with guests.
Work schedules will include holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
