Humble Spirit is a wine country restaurant sharing food with heart in historic downtown McMinnville, Oregon. The light-filled space is warm and approachable, welcoming locals and tourists for casual meals and special celebrations. The restaurant and catering menus draw inspiration from the seasons and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, some of which are from our Tabula Rasa Farms, and other provisioners using sustainable practices like regenerative farming and small-batch craft. Create connections. Craft cocktails. You are responsible for preparing and serving inspired drinks while delivering distinctive experiences for guests. You are the charming individual that impresses guests with your beverage expertise and techniques in an unmatched, expertly maintained atmosphere.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and serve liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, taking orders and serving food and drinks
• Assess bar customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Maintain the bar and keep it clean and organized
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Requirements

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system.
• Working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks.
• Working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment.
• Working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations.
• Working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures.
• Current State Food Handler’s License and State Mixologist Permit required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least one year of related education, training and/or experience.
• Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving customers.
• Ability to learn cash register software used by bar or restaurant.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
