About the Role

The Barry Callebaut Operating System Program Lead is responsible for designing, deploying, and governing the Barry Callebaut Operating System (BCOS). The role ensures consistent standards, strong capability building, and sustainable loss reduction across the global organization.

Key Responsibilities include

  • BCOS System Leadership: Own and evolve the BCOS framework, standards, tools, and maturity model. Define the annual BCOS roadmap and global deployment priorities. Lead governance, including reviews, assessments, and certification processes
  • Deployment & Capability Building: Support plants and regions in implementing BCOS pillars. Build capability through structured training, coaching, and toolkits. Ensure strong leadership engagement and core activation
  • Performance Management & Loss Reduction: Drive consistent use of loss intelligence and loss tree methodologies. Monitor site performance, identify systemic losses, and roll out best practices
  • Change Leadership & Culture: Build a zero loss mindset and continuous improvement culture. Strengthen behaviors related to problem solving, ownership, and visual management. Communicate progress, successes, and learnings across the organization
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, Safety, Engineering, HR, and Digital/IT to embed BCOS into core processes. Ensure BCOS principles (IM Pillar) are embedded in new line startups, capital projects, and key initiatives. Facilitate strong alignment across global, regional, and site leadership teams

About You

  • 15+ years of experience in manufacturing, operational excellence (IWS-based systems
  • Strong knowledge of IWS pillars, loss analysis, and capability systems
  • Proven ability to implement system in global organization
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Operations Management or similar
  • Proficient in English, any additional language an advantage
  • Excellent skills to coach, influence, and drive change across diverse teams.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and program management skills
  • Open to travel
