This position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage teams of geoscientists in the generation, evaluation, and execution of exploration programs across all stages of the exploration pipeline.
- Design, plan, and oversee exploration activities, with a strong focus on Project Generation and Target Delineation stages of the company’s exploration framework.
- Supervise and participate in field-based exploration programs, ensuring best practices in geological data collection, data management, safety, and community relations.
- Technically evaluate exploration properties and advanced-stage projects, contributing to recommendations for new business opportunities with Tier 1 gold and/or copper discovery potential.
- Collaborate with the Project Generation or New Exploration Opportunities (NEO) team in the assessment of new properties and strategic exploration opportunities.
- Prepare high-quality technical reports and presentations (internal and external) in both English and Spanish, including technical conclusions and recommendations, for site visits, progress updates, and end-of-season reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery of all geological and technical data in accordance with Geoinformatics standards, systems, and applications.
- Maintain proactive and effective communication with the Exploration Manager and/or District Geologist regarding technical support needs, project risks, and specialized training requirements.
- Coordinate with Sustainability teams to ensure proper implementation and compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Community Relations procedures at exploration projects.
- Ensure all required internal and external permits are obtained on time to support planned exploration programs.
- Promote knowledge transfer and continuous learning within the exploration team, including organizing technical training and knowledge-sharing activities related to mineralized systems.
- Coordinate with Human Resources on people and talent management activities, including recruitment, performance evaluations, development plans, mentoring, and coaching.
- Ensure awareness and communication of community, safety, health, environmental, quality, and risk-related matters within exploration teams.
- Comply with and enforce company policies, including the Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy, Human Rights Policy, Alcohol and Drugs, Discrimination and Harassment, and all other mandatory corporate standards.

- Actively support the goal of zero incidents by following and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Geological Engineering from an accredited university
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in metallic mineral exploration; international exploration experience
- Demonstrated technical expertise at regional to local scales, particularly in Magmatic-hydrothermal systems or Orogenic gold systems
- Experience with Carlin-type, sediment-hosted, SEDEX, or VMS deposits
- Proven experience planning and executing drilling campaigns, including reverse circulation (RC) and diamond drilling
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing geological teams and working collaboratively with Health, Safety, Environment, Community Relations, and Permitting functions
- Experience using geological software such as Leapfrog, ArcGIS Pro, and IOgas is preferred
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in spoken and written English for reporting and presentations
- Full proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
- Valid driver’s license, including 4x4 driving certification
- Strong leadership skills, passion for mineral discovery, high adaptability, strong planning and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in team-based environments
- Experience contributing to mineral discoveries and working across multiple project development stages (from generative to advanced projects) is considered a strong advantage
