About the job
Based at Mandarin Oriental The Landmark, Hong Kong within F&B Service Division in Hong Kong, the Barista will be responsible for delivering attentive, personalized service, demonstrating strong product knowledge, and supporting guest satisfaction. The Barista reports to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
As Barista, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and specialty beverages in accordance with The Communal standards
Perform milk texturing and latte art using café equipment
Take orders, upsell items, and handle POS transactions
Ensure consistent beverage quality and presentation
Maintain cleanliness of workstations and equipment
Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies
Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest enquiries
Support team operations and opening/closing duties
Follow hygiene, safety, and food handling standards
Perform equipment cleaning and report issues
Perform any other duties as required by your department head from time to time
As Barista, we expect from you:
With at least 1-2 years’ experience in Barista or hotel experience
Passionate about delivering an exceptional F&B service
Pleasant, presentable, service -oriented and good supervision skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Cantonese and English. Mandarin is an advantage
