Compensation: $17.50-$18.50/hour

Barista / Cashier / Prep Cook – Daily Sprouts Café Upper East Side, New York City Part-Time (with strong potential to grow into Full-Time)

Daily Sprouts Café, a brand-new, health-focused coffee shop and bakery on the Upper East Side (163 East 92nd Street), is now hiring a passionate Barista / Cashier / Prep Cook to join our small, dedicated team!

We’re not your average café. Our menu features delicious breakfast and lunch staples made with organic ingredients and sprouted ancient grains — think house-baked “kindabread” (our take on Ezekiel-style sprouted bread), fresh tortas, banana bread, and more — all prepared daily in-house for real nutrition and bold flavor.

What we’re looking for:

• At least some prior experience in a coffee shop, café, bakery, or fast-casual food environment (barista, cashier, line/prep work)
• Enthusiasm for food, wellness, and customer service
• Ability to explain our unique concept confidently and eloquently to curious customers
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a natural sense of cleanliness/neatness
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-energy setting
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine love for creating memorable customer experiences

What you’ll do:

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks
• Handle cash/register transactions with accuracy and warmth
• Assist with food prep, baking support, and daily kitchen tasks
• Greet customers, share our story, and build connections
• Maintain a spotless, welcoming environment

This is a part-time position to start (flexible hours, including weekends), with excellent potential to transition to full-time as we grow.
